Moong Bhaji

Serves :2

Ingredients
• 1 cup Yellow Moong Dal
• 5-6 Green chillies
• ¼ cup chopped cilantro
• 1 tsp garlic paste
• 1tsp cumin seeds
• ¼ tsp Asafoetida powder
• ½ tsp turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• Oil for deep frying

Method
1. Soak Moong dal overnight or atleast for 5-6 hrs.
2. Drain all the water
3. Grind dal without adding water.
4. Put ground dal into mixing bowl.
5. Add chopped green chillies, garlic paste, cilantro, cumin seeds, Asafoetida, turmeric Powder and salt to taste. Mix all the ingredients well.
6. Heat Oil for deep frying,Keep the flame on medium.
7. Drop small balls of dal mixture to heated oil.
8. Deep fry till golden brown.

Serve it hot with tamarind Chutney, Tomato ketchup or Green Chutney :)
